The India Gem & Jewellery Awards (IGJA) is a symbol of excellence in India’s gem and jewellery sector, celebrating the entrepreneurial spirit, innovation, and commitment to sustainability that drive the industry forward. Since its establishment in 1974, IGJA has honored the best performers in the sector, acknowledging their outstanding contributions to global exports.

This year’s grand event, held in Jaipur, was attended by the industry’s most influential figures. Shri Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, graced the occasion as the Presiding Guest, emphasizing the importance of technology and sustainability in the future of jewellery manufacturing.

The 51st IGJA presented 24 prestigious awards across multiple categories, including Industry Performance Awards, Special Recognition Awards, and Felicitation Awards. The event was supported by World Gold Council, GIA, Gemfields, RMC, and Vaibhav Global Limited as key partners.

During his address, Shri Gautam Adani highlighted the importance of innovation, sustainability, and digital transformation in the jewellery industry. He emphasized that by integrating advanced manufacturing techniques and digital tools, India’s jewellery heritage will reach new heights.

Adding to this vision, Shri Vipul Shah, Chairman of GJEPC, spoke about the remarkable resilience of the industry, which achieved $32 billion in exports last year, despite global challenges. He further stated that new government policies, infrastructure projects, and industry collaborations will elevate India’s position as a global leader in jewellery exports.
